چکیده
The noble crayfish ( Astacus astacus ), a keystone species of high ecological, economic, and cultural importance in Europe, is threatened due to long-term population decline caused by anthropogenic pressure on its habitats, the presence non-indigenous invasive climate change. Since effective protection remaining populations requires conservation measures based comprehensive knowledge species, including good understanding genetic morphological variability, our aim was study features Croatia using geometric morphometrics for first time. We applied two-dimensional find differences among 15 from Croatian freshwater grouped according previously established (a) mitochondrial (genetic) lineages, (b) clusters inferred nuclear microsatellites, as well (c) river basins (d) habitat types (lotic, lentic). Overall, results indicated existence diversity studied Croatia. Shape analysis showed cephalon affiliation different clusters, types. Our provided novel insights into endangered area diversity.

A new insight to the phytochemical and morphological diversity in commercial pomegranate (Punica granatum) cultivars
The pomegranate fruit is one of the most important horticultural products due to the presence of polyphenolic, antioxidant and anti-fungal compounds. In the present study, morphological and phytochemical compounds diversity was investigated in eight Iranian commercial pomegranate cultivars. Fourteen morphological characters and 10 chemical compounds were measured. Based on PCA analysis the most...

متن کاملInsight into diversity, body size and morphological evolution from the largest Early Cretaceous enantiornithine bird.
Most of Mesozoic bird diversity comprises species that are part of one of two major lineages, namely Ornithurae, including living birds, and Enantiornithes, a major radiation traditionally referred to as 'opposite birds'. Here we report the largest Early Cretaceous enantiornithine bird from north-east China, which provides evidence that basal members of Enantiornithes share more morphologies wi...
